    Nexgrill Flat Top Griddle

I've been wanting to get a flat top griddle for awhile and when I was in Home Depot yesterday I saw that they have the Nexgrill Daytona 3-Burner Flat Top 30" griddle on sale for $299. Would this be a good purchase at this price? Not familiar with Nexgrill and I can't find any reviews on this channe. If there is a review on it please post the link. TIA for your feedback. https://nexgrill.com/products/daytona-3-burner-grill

For the same price, you can get the Blackstone 36” 4 burner griddle at Walmart. It has a hard cover also. Personally, I’d get the Blackstone over the Nexgrill, might be better quality too. I’ve heard of Nexgrill but don’t have any experience with their products. I think you’d appreciate having the extra space and additional burner. There were several reviews of that Nexgrill on the link you provided, but I didn’t see any here either.

Andrrr Yes sir, sure am! I’ve said it before, but I’ll never be without a stand alone griddle from here on out. If I could only have 2 cookers in the world, it would be my kettle and the griddle.

Hard to argue with those choices. I was curious to see if the nonstick coating was gonna hold up or not. If I ever decided to get a new Griddle, that pit boss would be hard to pass up.

I went into the Pit Boss purchase thinking the surface was gonna be like Teflon, after hearing all the non-stick hoopla. It’s not exactly non-stick like Teflon, but let’s say it sticks a lot less than the steel surfaces. And it is easier to clean up for sure. No rust worries either.

John makes a good point. If you have a nearby Sam's Club they also have some griddles that are very solid.

They offer a Camp Chef version here right at $300. Three or Four burner.

Not sure if they’ve changed but Nexgrill used to be kinda sketchy. They had a habit of changing products every year…updates/improvements and the like. And then it was well nye impossible to get parts for the old ones. I watched a friend deal with that issue…all the while with me saying things like, “Just buy a ‘real’ grill.” He finally did. For around the same price, I’d check out one of the major players that stands behind their products.

Alan - I looked at the Camp Chef Flat Top Grill 600 with Lid which is comparable to the Nexgrill and Blackstone models. However, the best price that I can find it for is right at $600. You mentioned that they have them for $300 but I can't seem to find that price. If you have a link please provide it as I think that Camp Chef would be a better option in the $300 price range. Thanks!

It is early here. Give me a bit n I will get specifics. Also I purchased a 36inch from BBQguys that has a ceramic griddle at $325. I think that deal went away on 3/3. Victory was the brand. I have the 3 burner gasser n I love it at $600 w/roti.

Blackstone owner here, and I’m a fan. As others have said, once you start griddling you’ll never stop. It’s easily my most used outdoor cooker. And 36” is the way to go…you’ll never regret having more real estate!

BoomerSooner I went on Costco to get the specifics for the Camp Chef. It is only a three burner (90,000btu) lp stove with a griddle. The griddle looks pretty wimpy.
Then I looked at BBQguys. They no longer offer the four burner ceramic for $325. I did see a Camp Chef FTG 400 for $239.
        Cuisinart 36 four burner $259. And a BlackStone 28 for $346.
Sorry if I misled you, I only saw it in passing. I was there to check out the brisket and get salmon.

I would go with Blackstone or Camp Chef personally, and to be honest, while I own a Camp Chef and love it (the 6 burner FTG900), I would recommend you look at Blackstone's that you can find locally. Get one with a hinged lid too - I just dropped money on an aftermarket lid for my Camp Chef, as it sits out in the elements, and the canvas cover has finally worn out and is letting water leak onto the cooking surface.

You should be able to find a Blackstone 36 at a Walmart or other retailer near you in the $300's. In fact, someone gave you a link for $297 above.
