I have probably assembled 100+ gas grills in my lifetime.
I worked at a Hills department store when I was in high school in ‘89 - ‘91. My manager needed grills put together for the display models and I told him I’d do it. I got really good at it and could put one together in less than an hour. After I got the ones built for the store I started a little side hustle.
I did most of the carry outs when customers bought grills, Sauder furniture and anything else large and heavy. If I carried out a grill for someone I’d hand them my homemade business card letting them know I could assemble the grill they just bought for $25. After a few times getting to a house and finding that they started to put the grill together and failed at it, I started telling them it would be $30 if it was out of the box and partially together.
