When it's time to retire the Genesis, the Primate looks very nice, and their service is hard to beat, legendary even. Glad this is working out for you.

DavidNorcross David. I have a Primate on order. Any update on what to look out for? Anything special I should do when I receive it? I hear it gets very hot. What do you use as knob settings? Thanks John

Hi John. Happy to help any way that I can. It does get hot and gets there fast. Highly recommend starting all cooks on the lowest setting and work your way up from there. For example, bacon, potatoes, eggs, etc. Cook on the lowest setting. Burgers you can start on medium heat and ramp up from there. Salmon, always go low. Steaks, hot and fast. Honestly love the steaks the come off the Primate. By far my favorite cooker. Please let me know how I can help you. The learning curve is an easy one.

Thanks for the info, From what little is online, it looks like the griddle is easier to use than the grill. Where do you keep your griddle when not in use,
