Found this on FB yesterday and picked it up for $75 with a 20# propane tank. I'll post some pictures of before and After cleaning it. After one cook I have some first impressions. Overall, great find for $75
1. I really like the infinity edge design.
2.The heat was consistent across the griddle
3. Its not built very robust and will need owners that will care for it
4. The burners aren't shielded well from the wind which greatly affects achieving high temps.
If not cooking outdoors, I am cooking on the stovetop with my 14" carbon steel wok, 12" CI skillet, or in the oven with my two Lodge CI pizza pans, or two dutch ovens. I've also got a nifty Lodge carbon steel grill pan that rocks for veggies outdoors.
The hottest it'll get in the center is about 350. It's a little hotter on the edges, but the reviews here speak of 550 on some. Could be a bad regulator being used and left in the weather
ILMsmoke you may want to take out the 3 screws that hold the top on, and inspect the flame pattern on the burners to see if it looks low, before spending money on a replacement regulator.
I will ask my son in law how hot his is getting once he gets back from a 7 day cruise. He has an IR and likes to check things with it!

ILMsmoke Yeah, that thing should be able to get into the 500-550 range, so somethin' ain't right.
Here's what the flame looks like on High
And low
Left side after a 10 minute preheat on low
Right side
Cranked things to high for another 10 minutes, over the center burner tubes
And the outside edges
So, yeah, if you're only getting up to 350 something ain't right. I'd check that the burners are clear of debris, that the bracket that holds the burners and the control panel aren't bent or misaligned, and then replace the regulator. Also maybe call Cuisinart's CS if you can't get it figured out, they were pretty amazing when I had to call to get parts replaced that had been damaged in shipping, no questions asked except what parts I needed.
Also, don't use any really aggressive degreasers to clean the drip ring or the side table. I've found the Dawn Professional degreaser or the Bar Keepers Friend spray to be the best bets, stronger things will damage the paint on the drip ring.

Since that puppy has had a rough life before you the suggestions about making sure the burner ports are clean is wise. If those two burner loops are typical there should be a bell shaped entry port that is adjustable for air/fuel ratio. You want the blue flame as @mnavarreshows, not predominant yellow. Insects like to build nests in that area as well and are a common restrictor of proper gas flow. The regulator may be at fault, but, if you're unaware, they have a "safety" feature primarily designed to react to pressure differentials from leaks. It reduces the flow of gas. Check all connections and flex lines for leaks. Also, opening the tank valve too quickly can trigger that safety feature so you want to make sure you open the valve slowly each time you use it.
Good advice. I used to run into that "safety" feature myself with my original Weber Genesis grill, and get it into low-flow shutdown mode. If the grill valves are open at all when you open the tank, or you open it too fast, it kicks in, to shutdown what it thinks is a leak, and you can only get very low flames...
The first time you open the valve on a freshly filled tank open it very slowly. After the first time always shut the grill off first, then close the valve on the tank, to keep the line pressurized.
