The box came early, and appears to be well packed and damage free. So i will spend the afternoon putting it together with my kids 😀 FUN😀. I have other plans this weekend for cooking as I take my obligation to checking Panhead John very seriously. That said I may sneak a cook in! Will it be breakfast, fried rice, a steak? I'll update as the build comes together.

If not cooking outdoors, I am cooking on the stovetop with my 14" carbon steel wok, 12" CI skillet, or in the oven with my two Lodge CI pizza pans, or two dutch ovens. I've also got a nifty Lodge carbon steel grill pan that rocks for veggies outdoors.
Even if you don't get to cook on it, I know you will at least season the top and get it ready. My son in law got the smaller one when Woot had it on sale, and I think he ran 3 rounds of seasoning on the top, then he spent all weekend cooking chicken, chops, eggs, sausage, chocolate chip pancakes - you name it! He is going to put me to shame soon with the griddle cooking... he even stole my copy of "The Flippin' Awesome Backyard Griddle Cookbook" by our resident griddle master, Paul Sidoriak aka allsid .
That's right! Can't forget to season, I have my bottle of flax oil and am ready to go. With 45,000 BTU of searing power seasoning will be important. 🔥🔥🔥♥ï¸ðŸ¿ Going to have to check out that flipping awesome cookbook.

Been smoking a handful of years, just got serious in the last two or three years. Thanks to AR n @glemn picked up an SnS Kamado for appx 1/3 price of new. I dont think he used it twice. Love AR! keep calm n smoke on! Miss you Bonesy.
