    Bam!

So I cooked some lamb pops on the Blackstone last night and didn’t clean it. I’m off duty tonight (dear wife makin’ tacos) and decide I need to clean the Blackstone. Fire it up and walk off…..come back and it’s not very hot….hit the sparker and BAM! 😳

Leaky operator…..it did not ignite first time, minutes later second attempt lit and exploded. Should have shut it off for minutes before second attempt 🙄

smokenoob Arm hair is overrated. Glad you're okay.

Ow! In case you didn't already realize it, it is not recommended that you cook your body parts.

Hope you're going to be okay. And that it doesn't hurt too much.

Can anyone else smell burning hair?

Shouldn't this be moved to "Show Us What Your Cooking"?

40+ years ago I worked in a hardware store. We sold gas logs for fireplaces. My aunt bought one and I said I would be glad to install it for her. Got it all hooked up, went to ignite it the first time. Didn't ignite the first time. Did about the third time. I did a backward somersault across the room. Eyebrows still haven't gown back in.

Yikes! However, I made a pretty good living tending to these kinds of misadventures.
