pbcYou didn't mention how many people you are cooking for.
pbc
As many as possible, of course! Haha.
Mostly just the two of us. We have two very little ones as well. Whom, I understand, will likely eat more and more, as we go along.
Or Low n slow too? We all know the Weber kettle and PK can do both but do you really need a full size grill?
pbc
Low/Slow is key. I have a gasser, so grilling isn't *as* critical. That said, it would be nice if I could grill on it, because... if its small, its likely portable. And I'd love something I could use for tailgating and camping (the gasser is not portable).
pbcWeber has the Smoky Joe perfect for a smaller need. I've been known to mention pbc the PBC a few times. Great cooker, also has the JR., fire is well contained but as fzxdoc mentioned a little hard to grill on. Let us know what you decide.

Thank you!!!
(Can't really tell how you feel about Pit Barrels? Have you heard of them? I want you to feel comfortable sharing your opinions here..)
I also live in the city and before moving to our row home with a "backyard" we lived in a condo with a balcony. I used a WSM 14 and it was great. I would use it to smoke and sear.
