1st I'm putting this in Pellet cooker but it is gas too. Mods do what needs to done. Now the cooker. I follow the Barbeque Lab. The size is unbelievable. As a pellet or gas grill nice versatility. I suspect the ability to cook with 80#s of pellets is OK. It's not cheap at 5 figures and not your typical home cooker. Here is the video.

80 pounds as you say is OK. I have a 30 pound hopper and that is more than enough to smoke. If they are grilling with pellets, 80 pounds MIGHT be enough.

For $12.2K I really wanna see what the firepots look like. Then again for $12K I'd expect a better designed upper grate.
However the design looks like what I envisioned the eventual gas/pellet hybrid cookers would look like.
