Max Good I am hoping you can give some thoughts on how it will perform in cold winter conditions, seems to have a lot of electronics and they can be problematic at times. Where I am located we will have the odd spell of -20 or colder in the winter.

Max Good I am up here in Canada, just about the middle of British Columbia. We had a protracted almost 3 week long cold snap in February. Over night lows were sub -20 during that time, I tried to pretend I was a bear and hibernate. Warmer these days and I think winter is almost over.

Interesting, I've been saying that there would be a gas/pellet hybrid at some point. This isn't quite what I envisioned, but hopefully it smokes better than my BESRG did with gas heat and a pellet tray since this has a fan, but their pellet tray looks to have a similarly frustrating design as the BESRG. You can obviously make it work, but you will spill pellets.
Visual quality looks to be around the same as Cuisinart, depending on the price point that's not necessarily a bad thing.
Can't wait to see the review.Last edited by ItsAllGoneToTheDogs; March 2, 2025, 09:51 PM.

One down side - at the beginning of the video, he showed the wheels - pretty well barely mentioned those, they look dinky as hell. I don't think those are going to last.

I don't get how you do 2 zone cooking with burners that run from side-to-side versus front-to-back. Also, I have not found that any of the "all-in-one", "do everything" cookers really live up to that. Although, if it does adequately perform at the various cooking methods, for the cost conscious, it could be very satisfactory.

This cooker looks interesting. My gas grill needs replacement and this might be the one. I have a Weber Kettle, a couple of WSM'S 18 & 22, a komado. Don't know if I need an allout pellet grill, I do use gas in a pinch for sides etc. This Ninja will do cold smoking which would be great for homemade sausages. Pellet cookers don't run cool enough and it would be a pain to run the WSM at 150°F I am thinking.
