Max Good I am hoping you can give some thoughts on how it will perform in cold winter conditions, seems to have a lot of electronics and they can be problematic at times. Where I am located we will have the odd spell of -20 or colder in the winter.

Davek8282 Holy Mackerel! Where do you live. It's been a cold winter here in the Chicago area, but, thankfully, I don't expect the kind of sub-zero temps you're in.

Max Good I am up here in Canada, just about the middle of British Columbia. We had a protracted almost 3 week long cold snap in February. Over night lows were sub -20 during that time, I tried to pretend I was a bear and hibernate. Warmer these days and I think winter is almost over.

Interesting, I've been saying that there would be a gas/pellet hybrid at some point. This isn't quite what I envisioned, but hopefully it smokes better than my BESRG did with gas heat and a pellet tray since this has a fan, but their pellet tray looks to have a similarly frustrating design as the BESRG. You can obviously make it work, but you will spill pellets.

Visual quality looks to be around the same as Cuisinart, depending on the price point that's not necessarily a bad thing.

Can't wait to see the review.

Yes, what I shared is one. Looking forward to Max's review. That could take me over the top and depending on $$ could get me in internal @#@$.

It came up on my Facebook feed and was listed for $1499. A bit on the high side to me.

1st I'd sell the Spirit if only for room. I couldn't add it. It's still a stretch but one step at a time.

The basic unit is $999 so what you saw probably had an accessory bundle included.

One down side - at the beginning of the video, he showed the wheels - pretty well barely mentioned those, they look dinky as hell. I don't think those are going to last.

Luckily there's lots of aftermarket caster options, but I agree that's the most obvious miss at a glance... maybe having the center burner instead of the rear or front one being the sole burner for low and slow might be a miss as well. I'm sure Max will let us know

I don't get how you do 2 zone cooking with burners that run from side-to-side versus front-to-back. Also, I have not found that any of the "all-in-one", "do everything" cookers really live up to that. Although, if it does adequately perform at the various cooking methods, for the cost conscious, it could be very satisfactory.

A bit clunky but you could have the half griddle plate to one side and use the upper grate to place the food. A tad more radiant heat than ideal, but a way.

Looks like it's made with the absolute minimum gage metal. I also thought about those burners running left to right. Maybe better for the griddle application but not for grilling. Time will tell when there are better reviews from the geneal.public.

This cooker looks interesting. My gas grill needs replacement and this might be the one. I have a Weber Kettle, a couple of WSM'S 18 & 22, a komado. Don't know if I need an allout pellet grill, I do use gas in a pinch for sides etc. This Ninja will do cold smoking which would be great for homemade sausages. Pellet cookers don't run cool enough and it would be a pain to run the WSM at 150°F I am thinking.

I wouldn't do anything until we get Max's review and rating.

I checked it out, it sounded scripted, not real. It was more of an infomercial than a critical review. I'll be interested in the independent reviews.

Most of their reviews are that way. Don't often give a firm recommendation. But at least they show the features of the product pretty well.
