There’s a 10 year old used by a restaurant meadow creek PR60 for sale for around 900 in my area. Anyone know if they are the type that even after a decade of use that I will still get a few good years out of? He said the bottom has some waves but no rust. Photos look well used but in good enough condition. Obviously I don’t want to throw a grand away if I can avoid it.

Can you post pics? Does it come with any extras? New ones are just over 2 grand so my first thought is that might be pricey for something that may have been abused heavily for a decade. But condition and extras make a difference! You may also want to ask Meadow Creek about parts.

From the pics posted, it looks in pretty good shape. It could like Jerod said use some wire brushing and paint but not bad. I would call Meadow Creek and ask them what to look for on the smoker to tell you whether it will fall apart or if it is in good shape and what parts may be needed. Maybe they have upgrades available. You can then say, hey, I need to invest $$& to make it useful, maybe you can knock the price down. I assume grill grates are needed at least as I don’t see them in the pics.
