I'm not sure if this is the right place for sharing this post, but this is an 'other smoker'. 
We found this beauty on a hike in Franklin, NC:

I wasn't sure it was a smokehouse at first, but given that it was the only stone building on the property, it was a good guess. This is part of the Tessentee Bottomland Preserve and dates back to the late 19th century. The inside was too dark and didn't have any hardware (hooks, shelves, etc.), but it was pretty interesting.
The property itself is where the Tessentee Creek meets the Little Tennessee River.
