If you’re considering a 22” kettle grill, I’m going to also suggest getting the SNS kettle over the comparable Weber. I have an SNS kettle as well as a Weber Master Touch. Personally, I’d buy the SNS again before buying another Weber in the same price range. It has more useful features and feels better built to me. Our own Max Good did an excellent comparison between the two competitors. This is useful reading if you’re leaning in this direction. The prices listed in the article might not be current, as the article is a few years old.

Weber Summit Kamado with SnS and Vortex.. Broil King Baron, Primo Oval Junior. Primo XL. Love grilling steaks, ribs, and chicken. Need to master smoked salmon. Absolutely love anything to do with baking bread. Favorite cool weather beer: Sam Adams Octoberfest Favorite warm weather beer: Yuengling Traditional Lager. All-time favorite drink: Single Malt Scotch
I don’t know if it’s “the best” but I second the vote for the Weber Summit Kamado. It’s very versatile. Does everything a kettle does, and is a Kamado as well. Low and slow is not a problem on it at all. 24” diameter would also fit a pretty big brisket, or turkey, or chickens.

Welcome, most of us have multiple cookers for various proteins, moods, weather etc. Lately I have been using my LSG pellet set at 200 to get the steak to 100 internal. I use my Weber kettle with the Vortex to get a really hot fire and sear the steak for 30 seconds on each side. Wife absolutely loves them this way and I get a great crust from the sear. Good luck!
