Got some free stone from my buddy in Wisconsin. Only costed about $500+ and a weekend. It was fun. Hopefully it will hold up this time. Used the high temp mortar! It is a work in progress, the live fire cooking has been fun this summer. Plan to get a lot of use out of it. My wife is also a pyro, so I did have advanced permission to make it nice for her too.
