I like this thing! Used it to crisp up some flour tortillas for lunch. If cooking with gas is really like this, this little $30 thing may end up making me spend $$$ to replace my electric range with a gas one! Love the heat-up time, so fast!

I’ve been thinking about a grid-down cooker for basic things (outside of my charcoal and wood cookers). I just finished reading this thread, and I went on FB Marketplace and found this Coleman 2-burner for $25 which included 2 Coleman propane canisters. It was a 14 minute drive there to pick up. Done! Now I’m more prepared for a grid-down situation… now to just find a 100 pound propane tank just laying around for free/cheap!!
