I must say great video and very informative. Following a lot of the study and reviews i opted for a WSM 18.5 as my first pit and a good start. I’m feeling that by watching the above video i saved myself alot of time and painful embarrassment at the dinner table :-)
One thing that i am also not clear though is the comments on cleaning the pit. i just wanted to see what other people are thinking of this as i would assume not thoroughly cleaning after each cook with leave residue that indeed might be harmful for the next cook and also possible impact taste/smell of the following cook as well.
Once again thanks to Meathead, Harry and all for this forum and website as i have used it extensively for selection of the hardware from smoker to thermometers and also for the recipes. Many thanks & love the book as well !!!
