Meadowcreek PR42G advice needed

    Meadowcreek PR42G advice needed

    I have the meadowcreek PR42G w/ charcoal insert.

    Does MES anybody have any experience with one of these or one of the other PRs.

    I am am wondering how much charcoal to use for a long cook, how much to light to star with, how to spread it out. Also, any suggestions on vent settings and temp management.

    Basically any any advice would be appreciated.

    I don’t have a meadow creek but have you contacted their customer service or visited their website? I would just give them a call, I bet they would be very helpful.

      That is quite a cooker. No nothing about it, but I think I want one. Of course, I want one of every cooker I see on this forum.

        There are a lot of them I want. I’ve got my next one narrowed down to one of a couple. Need to outgrow this one first.
