    Spirit E-210 Indirect setup

    Hi
    I have a Weber Spirit E-210 - 2 Burner gas grill.
To set up indirect I have been using the back burner all the way as low as it goes with the front off. I figure the heat travels from back and rolls to the front, .
I have trouble maintaining 225 I use a water tray have had to open the lid 3/4" . I have tried all I can think of and can not maintain temp.

Would I be better off switching and using the front and turning the back off?
By the way The igniter is on the front burner

Any thoughts and/or tips would help
    Thanks all
    Jim

Just try different combinations but make sure you use a thermometer at grate level and don’t rely on the lid probe. It’s hard to get a gas grill to run low temps.

I thought all of the Spirit grills has a left and right, or left, center and right burners. My old Genesis has front and back burners, and if I were to try indirect, I would use the front burner, as the rear of the lid opening is where the exhaust is on a Weber gas grill.

You make better sense of it then I did.
The "vent gap" is in the back so using the front instead might just work.
Thanks I will try that the next time probably tonight
      Jim
