I bought this Weber gasser about 20 years ago and used it extensively until I got into pellet grills about 10 years ago. I kinda kicked my gas-passing buddy to the curb for a while, but recently decided to rebuild and reintroduce my old friend back into the line up. Replaced the burners and igniter, gave it a good scrubbing, and ordered new Grillgrates. Repainting and rebuilding the wooden tables this weekend.
One thing I can't find is replacement Flavorizer bars. Does anyone know where I can find some, or if there's a workaround? Weber no longer offers them.
I did a rotisserie chicken for dinner last night and remembered how good those are!

I was thinking about buying a new one but the Genesis, which I think is the comparable model, is $600. I'm into this for less than $300 including the Grillgrates. Do you remember what model they called this?
Thanks, but I unlazied myself and did a little googling. Grillparts.com had everything I needed, plus a few things I didn't even know I needed. Hmmm, inching closer to that $600...
check amazon as well. I find their prices are a lot better. Most made overseas, but cheap stainless is still stainless, especially for the flavoriser bars

I used to have one of those, too. The only issue I ever had is that, with the burners running left-right instead of front-back, it was really difficult to set up for a two-zone reverse sear. That said, I still kinda miss the old girl ...
Rotisserie chicken on the gasser....I know right? Always good to catch up with an old friend. I try to plan cooks with mine in the rotation every 5th or 6th time so it doesn't get lonely and rust up on me
