snowswamp Nice Job on that Pork Butt cook!! I used to use my Weber Grill as a smoker. And it was always tricky, particularly in cold or windy conditions. But it looks like you worked it out and got a great result. Cheers!!
I was fooling around and picked up a Weber Silver B off CL, and rebuilt it for my son. He uses it weekly. Those older webers are great grills and parts are easy to get.

CONGRATS!! I still remember my first successful butt....Felt like superman! While looking for a smoker, i would take into consideration that you have a NG line. I cook some mighty fine Q over gas, and it is so much easier than when I am stick burning or using briquettes, especially on long cooks.
