I was in the Home Depot yesterday and noticed they had the Genesis grill with a $100 price reduction, $699 for the E330 with a "new lower price" sticker. Looks look the 310 and the S models are similarly reduced.

Actually just looked at the Lowes app and they have the same offer on the front page.

It's probably just a BBQ season ending inventory reduction sale... Not sure.
They stock up big for the summer BBQ season but when that ends for the year they don't want excess inventory. They have to make room in their warehouses for the upcoming holiday promotions. -
I noticed the HD offer runs through to October and the Lowes offer run through November.

I'm desperately resisting the urge. I just got my new Weber kettle setup and whilst I'm loving it, I am missing the convenience of a gasser for quickly cooking a couple of chicken breasts, or grilling some hot dogs.Comment

Nate I had thought about a Q series for that, then I thought "no, I'm going to go charcoal only", now I'm wavering back in the other direction. Then comes the whole Spirit vs Genesis conundrum. I could probably get away with a 2 burner Spirit, but if I'm planning on tool I'm going to use for the next 10 years the extra $$$ for the Genesis makes sense....
I think my first port of call is to get my grilling station setup for the kettle. I'm going to build a prep/storage unit and include a roof to make rain/winter grilling slightly more enjoyable.Comment
