Yep ... you won't find yourself replacing stainless flavorizer bars in only 5 years. That said, unless you plan to keep your E-330 for more than another 5 years, I'd go for the less expensive option.
Last year I bought a Genesis EP-300 ... black exterior with all stainless innards (grill grates, flavorizer bars, burners, and lid liner. Should last forever. If wwian upgrades those parts to stainless (not necessarily all at once) he'll basically have an EP-330 to play with for many years to come.
They are under warranty. File a claim with weber. They will ask for the serial number and some photos. They replaced all my burners and the flavorizer bars no cost. I think they are still covered at five yeard
The original bars on my Weber Summit rusted out after about six years and I replaced them with the stainless steel bars.
That was about seven years ago and the "new" bars show no sign of corrosion. Didn't think of filing a claim with Weber on
the original bars, though.
