Not hard but tiring and time consuming because of corroded bolts. Thanks to jfmorris for advising me to contact Weber about my rusted cookbox- they were out of stock but shipped within a week or two. Props to Weber for standing behind their product.

- If not cooking outdoors, I am cooking on the stovetop with my 14" carbon steel wok, 12" CI skillet, or in the oven with my two Lodge CI pizza pans, or two dutch ovens. I've also got a nifty Lodge carbon steel grill pan that rocks for veggies outdoors.
Glad they got you the replacement body! There are days I think I should call Weber just to "test" the LIFETIME warranty on the aluminum castings or 25 YEAR warranty on the porcelain hood of the Genesis that I have which was purchased on 9/2/2002. It's sitting on my youngest daughter's back porch at the moment though, and the porcelain and body still look good... but you gotta wonder if they really still could dig up a replacement aluminum firebox for a grill made in 2002! Or the lid...
Did they include replacement bolts, or were you expected to reuse the old corroded ones, or did you have to go to the hardware store during the rebuild?
