MCS is a real condition - Meadow Creek PR42G

Made a trip to Grill-Billies in North Carolina and look at what I ended up with...

    A Meadow Creek PR42G

Anybody have any suggestions on how to get started with one...

Nah, it's all in your mind, which controls you.

Light some charcoal and get going!

    Congrats!!

There was a couple there getting a new gas grill to replace an old one. I warned them that is how it starts, I replaced and rusted out old gas grill and now I have a collection of cookers that keeps growing...

MCS is real. It isn't cured, only goes into remission. Every time someone posts a picture of a KBQ in action it "triggers" my latent MCS and I wind up shaking and wishing I had made my enormous cooking space even larger.

I bought a whole new house so I'd have an excuse to buy another smoker. Gotta have at least one (or two) grills/smokers at each house.

Start with putting 6 butts on, invite family over, smile.

It’s a lot like being an audio enthusiast. The audio bug hit me about 45 yrs ago. Now this. Not good. But on the other hand, REAL GOOD. Thank goodness I’m not a golfer.

I'm beginning to think, which is always very dangerous.
Any hobby can get expensive the more you get involved. I was into cars and open-tracking and spent a lot of money setting up and maintaining/repairing my car. Although this has cost me less, I haven't been doing it for 20 years. It is accelerating way to quickly.

I had a friend say they were looking for a cheap hobby...My response was if he finds it let me know because that was going to be my new hobby...

Does it come with a start button or is it the cheaper model with a pull handle. 👍👍👍🕶

I think a good start would be to solicite the opinions of 6 friends, after drinkin a 30 pack and reading the manual and either start with chicken ( quick and easy) or get another 30 pack and a butt 10 pounder
