Probably should have just hijacked one of the earlier similar threads but not sure of the etiquette (newbie here). So, similar question to pose. Looking for a 36" drop-in NG grill in the "mid-priced" range, say $2K-$3K. That rules out FM, TEC. Just visited my local dealer, who carries AOG, Saber, Napoleon in my price range. And though I haven't seen it, Woodland Direct lists a Lynx Sedona in that range as well.
I was surprised that my dealer was clear in recommending the Napoleon PRO over the Saber and AOG alternatives. Says his technician believes they are the best built of the three (and owns one personally). But, Max Good's reviews (my starting point) were gold medal rated for all three. From my looking at this channel, Napoleon seems to get the most positive feedback. Does anyone think there's any strong reason to consider something other than the Napoleon, given reputation and good local sales and service? Is the Lynx Sedona a "stripper" model, considering I usually think of Lynx as very high end?

That alone justified the Pitmaster Club membership!
