    The $4500 Ferno Grill

I was flipping through magazines at Costco while my wife was shopping and saw a little article on this. You can adjust the gas flames up or down with a hand crank and it took 4 years to design. Way out of my range so just passing along the info.

My apologies if this has already been brought up. Did a search and nothing came up.

Ferno Grills are the ultimate cooking machine for the backyard cook. Designed and engineered with Firewheel technology for unparalleled precision in heat control, Ferno is the only gas grill with height adjustable burners, custom cast iron grates and a fully insulated hood, so you can sear without burning and slow cook to perfection.

Out of my range too. I have managed to "but $50 more and..." my way up to the Napoleon Pro500RSIB ftom the starting point of Broil King Baron. I dare not think about another $100 could get because I might find out.

But I have never thought "wow I wish I could raise and lower the gas burner tubes". Not with the instant on/off gas offers.

Reads as a great product, but the price point is way above most of our pay grade!

Not always a bad thing, unless she is awarded the grill.

Pretty happy with my run of the mill grill. My money is going to be spent on other fuel.

$4500 probly buy a bit of fuel, maybe some modest proteins, as well!

Isn't it easier (and cheaper) to just move the grate up and down?

I am on Mark Bitman's email list, and one of the last emails I got said this:

And fourth, I had to take my new Ferno grill out for a spin.
Should have bought it last year, it is now up to $4800.
