    3 Embers Gas grill

Anyone have any experience with this grill? I see it sold at Cabela's, Home Depot, and Tractor Supply. Haven't seen it in person yet, but it looks intriguing, to say the least. The reason I ask is because at all the above places it is listed at $599.99, except Tractor Supply, which put it on sale today for $399.99. That seems like a great deal, and I'm very seriously considering it to replace an older Ducane that I've had for at least a decade.

Tailgater magazine has an advert for it. I like the look of it, but I have no experience with it.

I'm taking a risk on it. That price is too good to pass up. Wife is heading to Tractor Supply tomorrow to pick it up. There are two in stock there. I went and looked at it today after work. Looks very sturdy, lid is heavy as hell. This comes with a cover and is the model with self closing doors and drawers. Ill post pictures of the assembly. This sale lasts thru Fathers day, by the way.

Ok, so the wife picked this thing up for me today from Tractor Supply. They had it marked $499.99, with an additional 20% off for Fathers Day. This thing is heavy! Came mostly assembled, all I had to do was add the shelves and burner, connect the burner line and igniter, add the burner knob, then install the heat tents and grates. Overall fit and finish is good. Seems well built and engineered. The lid is surprisingly heavy, but it is insulated and double walled. Like HouseHomey said, it is very shiny! I did an initial burn it, then threw on a few things we had in the fridge as well as some fresh vegetables from the garden. Pictures will follow hopefully, I've been trying all day to get them to load. Keeps telling me file extension does not match content.

I read on a thread that making an adjustment to them, any adjustment like resizing and then re saving will fix it. Like DW says below

You may have to resize the pics to get them to load.

Do you have an update on this grill after owning it for a while?

An excellent value at $399! I'd score a set of grillgrates for that cooker too.

I bought one of these last March at Tractor Supply. Mine is slightly different, but a 4 burner as well. I paid 429 I think. My gassers generally last in the 3 year range, and then need to be replaced, regardless of cost it seems. I keep them covered. Anyway, this has been really solid so far. My usage on average about 3 days a week. Very good grill for the price point, and I've owned a butt load of gassers over the years.
                  My model is the GAS7480CS.

Gotta start somewhere, right? Mine is holding up pretty well. I have one light on a burner knob that doesnt come on. It's a simple fix to replace the board inside it with the LED, but it doesn't bother me enough to bother with it at the moment. I added custom cut Grill Grates, and the temp skyrockets now. Worth the investment in those for sure. Stainless steel outer is looking good. I keep mine covered as well. I bought the Armor All brand cover when the original fell apart two years ago.
