Gassers - Side Burner Question: How

    Use it all the time for lighting charcoal chimneys. Also use it for side dishes, or when it's hot and I don't want to heat up the kitchen using the stove.

      Frying... Frying in the house is a mess and smells so I grab the cast iron and use the side burner. Still not used much but useful when I need it.

          When I used to have a gas grill, I rarely used the side burner mostly because I could never keep the thing lit. If and when I decide to get a new gas burner, I will opt for more cooking real estate versus the side burner. Similar to rodkeary 's wife, I caught the kids a time or three lighting their punks with the side burner so they could go blow up the neighborhood with their fireworks.

            I use it regularly to light my charcoal as my Weber chimney fits right on top, but that's all it's used for. I like it, but I think you'll get more use from the extra space of a 4th burner.

              Agreed. Four burners are, IMHO, necessary for a good two-zone setup.
