So, as I've mentioned before Bluegaz is sponsoring me with a gas grill. I picked it up two weeks ago, but haven't had time to assemble it. But today was the day. Assembly was straight forward. Everything was in the boxes, all the bolts were there, and the manual was correct. So I just bolted everything together, it took me less than an hour. I figured I'd read every step of the manual so I don't miss anything.
First impressions are: very sturdy, well built, many thought through details. I like that it's all stainless, that includes the cabinet. Good size wheels (but not great), so it's easy to move around. Way better than the tiny wheels that the PK360 has for example. The cabinet door where thick, and the hinges adjustable for perfect alignment. Very nice touch. The grill grates are massive, 8 mm square bar. I like the ceramic burners. Fired it up, that was easy, and let it burn for a while.
One small remark is that it would be nice with some kind of icon or indicator to know which of the three knobs is which. But I'll learn.
The oak wood handle is nice, and I got a few extras from the good folks at Bluegaz. My favorite is the super simple little side shelf that just fits like a glove. That will come in handy for sure. They offer a full table the size of the grill if one wants to go down the outdoor kitchen route. I skipped that. But my twin sister has it, and it looks real slick.
Here are some photos. So far, very impressed. Will report back after the first cook.
