I have been looking at new gas grills for the past year or so after I noticed on my 12 year old Weber the support bars on the bottom were very rusty and bending. I had replaced the burners/ignitors a few years ago and last year replaced the drip pieces below the burners.
Ember's Living in Colorado had some great videos on a variety of grills but I finally decided to go with the True Flame 32" freestanding model from them. It is made from 304 stainless even the .312" wide grates and cast burners. I liked the interior and exterior lights and decided to pull the trigger.
It arrived 4 days after ordering in numerous boxes with no issues. It took me about 60 minutes to put it together but I was extremely surprised EVERY screw lined up with the Pem nuts perfectly and they threaded easily. It has a tension nut on the lid that adjusts to easily lift or slow it down to close. This one is very similar to the Blaze but had a better warranty. The sheet metal has a thickness of .045" and seems to be pretty stout. It does require to be plugged in to an electrical outlet for the lights to work which is what I preferred.
