Like jfmorris I’ve had nothing but good luck with Weber gassers. New, you’re going to have to sacrifice either size or budget. It’s a great time of year to check stores for any deals on stuff they don’t want around all winter, but might be a month or so late. Definitely worth a search through CL and marketplace too like others mentioned.
Edit: If you’re a Costco member might be worth checking your warehouse. They had a special 4 burner Genesis this year. Check the far back corner of the store apparently this time of year.Last edited by glitchy; October 26, 2023, 11:26 PM.

I agree that the Weber gassers that I have used have been top-notch and something that I would buy again in a heartbeat, should the need arise. Spring for a Summit gasser if you can swing it. The rotisserie with infrared feature is great, and 6 burners get used more than you think.
I trust Weber products. Weber knows its stuff, as long as we don't mention SmokeFire pellet grills, depending on whom you ask. That said, I'm still considering purchasing a Smoke Fire pellet grill if I can find a spot to shoehorn it in on my "cooking deck". I'm not allowed on the entertaining side of the deck with any BBQ toys at all(!).

Don’t believe the hype from those that know no better. There’s a tier of pellet grills that can almost equal the WSCG for smoked foods with tons less effort, but there’s only a few players in that league 😉 The SmokeFire is definitely one of them, despite its challenges, maybe even the leader. Like the star NFL player that never completes more than 10 games a season due to repeated injury. Only two smokers have made food too smokey for me to stand, a SmokinTex and the SmokeFire.

Too much smoke flavor from a pellet grill, glitchy , sounds interesting. Only once in my life have I "burped smoke" after eating a brisket and it was cooked on a pellet cooker. I still don't understand how that happened, but then I don't know much about pellet cookers except for the basics.
I keep going back and forth between a Pit Boss Copperhead for its footprint and the Weber SF because I'm a Weber girl at heart.
