Never seen it before so i bought a few bags at lowes. Overall, not a fan. Its made by royal oak. It claims to be made from oak and hickory. I will say that it does burn fairly clean when properly lit, but TONS of ash. It clogged up my PKO good. It burns fast too. It was only 8 bucks a bag for 16lbs so i guess you get what you pay for.
I may buy again but only for hot and fast cooks where i feel like im wasting a chimney of charcoal anyway
I wanna say I had a cheap/knock off generic brand that had briquets that were exactly like the Ridge. Horrible to use in my COS. B & B left everything in the dust, urrr, ashes.
