I've been experimenting with lump charcoals this summer. I've had good luck with Royal Oak and B&B oak lump, but recently my luck with Blackwood lump has been 👎ðŸ¼👎ðŸ¼👎ðŸ¼. I've tried in my PK360, PBC and my primo XL. It does n9t want to light, it doesn't stay lit very long, it requires relighting in all my cookers. I will admit, the med-large pieces are numerous, but being able to get it lit and the longevity of a cook is a problem. Being that Royal Oak lump is so readily available, I'm gonna stick with it. B&B is good too, but not as easily obtained.

Kamado Joe Big Joe III, PKGO, PK300, Jumbo Joe and PBC. Weber kettle @ the hunting camp.
I will be purchasing some FOGO from Adrenaline BBQ when my stash gets low. That is a good deal he has going.

Right? And delivered to your front door? I'm liking it. I know my local BBQ dealers won't like it, but unless they start stocking it I will continue to buy it from David Parrish .Last edited by Craigar; September 13, 2019, 08:30 AM.
