This is life, but I can still grumble... We know that prices rise, but it's still irritating.

We are getting 3.8 lbs more charcoal than before, and the sale price is $5 more, which is more than $1 per lb... I guess that it's still a deal, but just not as good as before.

I just bought out the store of K Pro at Costco, I'm good for a few months, probably all summer seeing as how I had about 6-8 bags of KBB left to go with it. Running out of room for cheap Kingsford !!!

I purchase 6 2 packs early this AM and just picked them up. Since I cook for only 3 people, this will last me until next summer. I rarely let the coals just burn out in my Weber's and never in my PBC. A bag goes a long way when I do this.

Our local Home Depot had 14.5 pound bags of Embers on sale for $1.90 per bag. I bought 11. When Weber went on clearance I was able to snag 5. I've recently purchased 4 15-pound bags of Stubbs (down to 2 and 1/2) and 4 15-pound bags of Royal Oak hardwood (down to 2). My wife grabbed a 2-pack of Kingsford Pro from Costco. Still have 1 35 pound bag of Western lump that I got on clearance at Walmart last year for %6.50 per bag. I have 5 partially used bags of various stuff plus an unopened KBB 2-pack. I'm thinking this should carry me through Labor Day so I'll likely be passing on the Memorial Day KBB sales.
