Is Kingsford going back to 20lb twin packs for Lowes/HD in 2019?
All of Home Depot's charcoal has been on sale/clearance for a week or two now, and I recently noticed this on Home Depot's website when I search for charcoal:
Scotch: Current favorite- The Arran (anything by them), Glenmorangie 12yr Lasanta, sherry cask finished. The Balvenie Double Wood, also like Oban 18yr, and The Glenlivet Nadurra (Oloroso sherry cask finished) among others. Neat please.

Decided to run out to my local HD and scoop up 5 twin packs of KBB, just in case the 18.6s do in fact go away and the price jumps. I am stocked up pretty well for awhile now, of course I'm curious to see what ends up happening
Cookers:
Large Big Green Egg with a Ceramic Grill Store rack system, and the SnS setup.
Weber Genesis SA-E-330 LP INDIGO with SS Grates, Weber Crafted frame kit, baking stone, griddle (2/3), all from Ace Hardware.
For the first time in a long time I have no kettles as I gave them all away.
Everything Else:
SnS #3 with certificate. I was their first customer.
Sous Vide equipment.
SnS and Thermoworks instant read and leave-in thermometers.
Grill Grates for BGE.
Kingsford Blue Bag, Weber lighter cubes, Weber charcoal chimneys.
Rubs with salt: Meat Church Holy Cow.
Rubs without salt: Home-mixed versions of previously sold SnS Grills Rocky's Rub and Not Just for Beef using their recipe. SPOG.
Spices: Lots of 'em.
Last time I checked, I had about 372 lbs. stockpiled in my shed. That should get me through the year and then some. I'll wait and see if it goes to half price in the summer. If so, that's only about $0.03/lb more than I have been paying during the summer holiday sales.
Yeah, I like that. I usually wait until Memorial Day or July 4 to buy a bunch when it's on sale, but I don't think I'm going to have enough to make it that long. I prefer Weber charcoal, but I can never find more than one bag at a time... usually none.
