Our local Wal Mart recently had 30 pound bags of Western lump charcoal on sale for $6 per bag. I grabbed 5. I am down to 5 bags of KBB but I have 4 bags left of Western lump plus a 20 pound bag of Weber and an 18.5 bag of Kingsford professional. In addition to that 3 open bags of various charcoal. I'll probably only buy 1 or 2 from Lowes/Home Depot for the Labor Day sale.

JGo37 my first bag went pretty well. It burned for a pretty long time. It had it's share of really small pieces but that's been the case for every bag of lump I've ever purchased except Kamado Joe, which was $25 for a 20 pound bag (get what you pay for). The bag did have a 3 foot piece of twine in it but no other foreign objects and not too much dust.
