I ran to Home Depot to get some batteries and bungee cords and came home with charcoal. Didn't know they were having their sale. Great surprise.

It seems to me they have the sale on Memorial Day and Labor Day and then randomly throughout summer. But maybe there is more of a pattern to it.

Yes, all the nice weather holidays, Home Depot will have the KBB on sale. Also, if Home Depot does not have their KBB on sale and some other place does, they'll price match it... i.e., the co-packs.

Agreed. Before becoming a member here I just bought charcoal as needed from the grocery store. Now I'm like a supply chain manager of my own charcoal department.

Well, I just paid $10 for one bad....just got a kettle. First charcoal grill in 20 years.I was in a hurry to fire up the SNS. Once again, I have been edumacated by this site!

Obi-Dan Same here. I used to just buy it as needed. I didn't even know about the Home Depot/Lowe's sale until I became a Pit member.
