A little FYI for those of you looking to try B & B, but are having trouble finding it. I noticed bags of B & B all natural Mesquite briquettes under the meat counter at Whole Foods today. I didn't look at pricing, sorry. Apparently they are expanding beyond Academy Sports.
For those that may not be familiar with them, it is my new favorite charcoal, as not only does it burn hot and last, it doesn't seem to put off near as much of that white smoke I associate with off flavors and binders (at a reasonable price). I buy the Oak myself, but they also make Hickory.
No financial interest.

Breadhead The meat counter does get expensive, I agree. I'm usually there for coffee beans, parmesan, and ramano (like I was today). Mom is selective about her food sources, so when doing family cooks I spend the extra dollars, also when the quality is exceptional. The beef ribs today truly looked as a wagyu steak, but I still passed on anything from the meat counter. Thought real hard about those ribs tho...
Costco and Whole Foods cover 2 COMPLETELY different parts of the retail food market. I'm a Costco guy! My rich neighbor lady is a Whole Foods customer.😖 She says there's just way to many people at Costco and she hates crowds. I say show me Prime Brisket for $2.99 and I'm all in!
