Each box is 11lbs. Regular price is $22, now on sale for $11, through 1/31.
At $1/lb it's still expensive, but about the same as Fogo or Rockwood. The people at Weber Kettle Club rave about this product. I haven't tried it, but I'll pick up a few boxes next time I'm over that way.
Scotch: Current favorite- The Arran (anything by them), Glenmorangie 12yr Lasanta, sherry cask finished. The Balvenie Double Wood, also like Oban 18yr, and The Glenlivet Nadurra (Oloroso sherry cask finished) among others. Neat please.

I picked up 6 boxes last night, they're bigger than I thought they would be. I'm doing a brisket next weekend, I'll report back on the 'coal as well as the cook.
More persuasive than that, for me, was the way the Weber Kettle Club talked about it. No one felt it was worth $2/lb, but quite a few said that even though they thought it was expensive, they could justify $1/lb. Everyone thinks that the product independent of price is pretty good.
