82 bags available at my local Lowe's. Wonder how many I can get in my car?

Anyone use this so as to offer a comparison between it and Kingsford Original?

I've used it a fair amount, but never did any side by side comparison nor did I take notes. Generally, I'd say I slightly prefer it.

I have used stubs a few times. Seems to burn a bit hotter, lasts just as long and produces a little less ash than kbb. Glad I saw this post to remind me th hit lowes on my home and fill up my truck. Hopefully.

12 bags in back of truck and heading home. Guess I gotta do some cooking this weekend.

Very interesting. Since I'm going to be playing with briquettes now, I may have to snag a couple bags. I don't think I can fit more than 3 or 4 in my car

I googled it and some other forums had very favorable reviews of this versus Kingsford. I'm curious to see what the "Pitters" say.

Ebates is doing a 3x rebates on some places. I'm hoping Lowes is in the next round so I can get 4.5% instead of the usual 1.5% (but still, anything back is nice ). Shame this item doesn't fall under Lowes free shipping.

Gotta love side by side comparisons. I hope you report back!

I liked it more than kbb. I thought it burned just as long and less ash at the end. My local home depot quit carrying it and I went back to kbb.

Lump has been a mixed bag for me, I definitely prefer the uniformity of briquettes.

heat is heat if the fire is burning right.

Yep. Heat is heat Fire is fire. Couldn't agree more. Gas, electric, pellets, lump, bricks or wood. Got love for them all.

Pretty much my story, Kpaxfaq . And around here it is more expensive and never on sale.

Doh, missed it! Even if I'd spotted the sale I would have had to make a special trip to get some. When we lived in RI I had two Lowes and a HD between the office and home. In NH it's a minimum 1 hour round trip to go to either!
