    I love buying good charcoal at $0.50 or less per pound. Great score. I now just use Cowboy, Kirkland and B&B. Cowboy and B&B are made by the same parent company.

      Was at Wally World yesterday and they had 40# bags of Cowboy charcoal for $17.92 or $0.448 per pound so I did pick some up.

        How do they compare to Kingsford? The Kirkland Pellets are not good, in my opinion. Just curious if these preform the same, better or worse than Kingsford..........

          I like the Cowboy and Kirkland better because KBB starts off with more heavy blackish smoke more than the other two. I'm guessing the heat, longevity and ash are about the same, never measured. As always, YMMV
