I picked up a bag of the briquettes. Smells and burns very similar to B&B. I love all of the rubs. The BBQ sauce is meh.

I make most of my rubs at home and haven’t used any of their charcoal products. Their fajita seasoning is second to none. I love fajitas and that rub takes them over the top.

Thanks. I am a huge Meat Church fan. I have narrowed my favorites down to Meat Church and Hardcore Carnivore, with a couple off outliers.

I use the rubs a lot and they are good. I just got a couple of bags of the briquettes to try. I've gone through 2 bags now and the amount of ash residue is the worst I've ever seen. I'll stick with B&B.

I was at my local Ace for some paint the other day. Their outdoor cooking section has greatly expanded, so it's worth checking out.

I've seen Meat Church at Publix on sale. Not every store carries every item, but their website/app is very accurate at tracking item availability.

            Posted from my phone.

I grabbed a bag of briquettes a couple weeks ago. Seems like it is just B&B in a different bag. Not that that is a bad thing at all. I love the B&B briquettes. Didn't cook anything too crazy with it, just some chicken thighs and flank steak. Worked great, no weird smells or tastes or anything like that.

As far as rubs I love Honey Hog and Holy Voodoo for chicken wings. Those are my two go-tos for chicken. Holy Gospel (I think it is that one anyway) made my tri tip taste kind of like hot dogs.

Deez Nuts for ribs. (My all time favorite for Ribs, TBH)
VOODOO for everything chicken or pork..
                Blanco: Chops and steaks.
                Honey Hog: ribs and shoulders.
                Texas Sugar: Ribs and Shoulders

I love their rubs. The charcoal is probably just 3rd party marketing and made my Kingsford, Royal Oak or some one like that. (Just a guess) I know the lump is made in Mexico, for whatever that is worth.
