Anyone familiar with this product? Given its name, it's hard to search for. I saw it in something that the PK Grills posted on Instagram.
Supposedly they use acacia from southern Africa where it is invasive, so it's win-win (except it's nearly twice the price of Kingsford) The Good Charcoal
22” Blue Weber Kettle with SnS insert
Kamado Joe Jr with Kick Ash Basket
Char-Broil Smartchef Tru Infrared Gasser
Anovo Hot Tub Time Machine with Custom Hot Tub
Check it out jtw Yes it may be more expensive but it’s quality stuff. I use it all the time. No filler garbage in the coals. Burns hot and clean. The Super Briquettes are fantastic. In my opinion.
I followed your link down to see what I could buy the Good charcoal for and where. It’s available at Home Depot but isn’t cost effective when I look at the B&B I use now. I’m such a jaded old skeptic that I’m slow to believe any claims that the product is good for where ever it’s produced. If I recall correctly someone posted an article not long ago showing that all charcoal tested contained woods that were not listed on the bag. Right now I can get B&B lump for $15.99 a 20 pound bag at Walmart or Academy. It works great for me.
I bought some at Sam's a couple years ago when they had it in their inventory. The bags I go had a lot of smaller pieces and dust...might have been from rough handling in shipment.
