Do People Actually Buy This Stuff?

This caught my eye today. Inexplicably, it was on the shelf at CVS. I am completely flummoxed by it. Sorry, I was so shocked I didn't even look at what the price was. Whatever is inside the bag felt like it was kind of briquette shaped and just a bit smaller than normal.

I mean, presumably the hickory will come through, but all that other stuff? I imagine the fire might smell good but really doubt any taste comes through.

I’ve noticed that if I’m shaking Lowerys seasoned salt on burgers while grilling them you get a very pleasant aroma. I have never even supposed that that would translate into more flavor. If I throw a half teaspoon on the charcoal the neighbors will be calling asking what smells so good. But getting better flavor ain’t happening.

You can use this charcoal to fire up your grill for when you put a pot over the charcoal to boil the ribs. It's an effective way to cook the ribs.

At first glance I thought Kingsford had entered the potato chip business. That would make a lot more sense.

I know garlic does not smell very good when it burns.

I wonder if they have that in pellet form.
