I was using B&B Oak Lump and I saw Home Depot had a sale on Jealous Devil. Over the years I have seen good mentions about JD, but availability has been a problem for me. Without a doubt I picked it up and I would say this is my new go to. The lump clearly lasts longer and burns just as clean if not better.

Wish JD would make some normal sized briquettes. The big ones don’t make a ton of sense to me for a good number of my cooks.
but their pellets and lump are 👨🍳💋

Large Big Green Egg, Weber Performer Deluxe, Weber Smokey Joe Silver, Fireboard Drive, 3 DigiQs, lots of Thermapens, and too much other stuff to mention.
I loaded up some JD to roast a chicken in the BGE; I didn’t want to smoke it, just cook it indirect outdoors. I let it run at 350-400° for almost an hour, waiting for the smoke to clear. It was blue, but I didn’t want any smoke at all!
I shut the vents and did the chicken inside. I’m used to FOGO burning clean, and not to slag on JD, but this wasn’t the first time I’ve used it, and I don’t recall it ever happening before. All the pieces were HUGE, too, like the size of an acorn squash. Good for some things, not so good for others, I guess.
