When it comes to price, as Ricky Gervais would say, "I just don't care." I buy B&B, Rockwood, and FOGO lump in that order because they perform best for me (piece size/heat/burn time/minimum ash). I'm no spendthrift, but I'm happy to pay what the traffic will bear to get the results I like.

I have been happy with B&B. Not as happy with KB. The KB professional is better.
I do use KB for “short” cooks, and had to use 12 to 15 of them to start a cooks, because my B&B supply got so low.
I would always stock up during the sales… Which I haven’t seen in awhile. My local Ace seems to have a steady supply of B&B. 4to 6 bags when I go. Unfortunately it is not in the direction I typically travel. Have to make a special trip…
