Went to the new Plano HEB today, meandered down the grilling aisle. They had an HEB branded bag of mesquite briquettes. 16# for $6.88. I bought a bag, couldn’t not buy it for that price. Any of you Texicans tried this?

I like it. I don't use briquets that often but I like HEB or B&B briquets the best. My HEB doesn't carry the B&B briquets but they have the B&B lump that I use for most things. I get the B&B briquets at Academy when I go there otherwise I'll use the HEB brand.

Yep, I’ve been buying B & B briquettes at Academy. I noticed they didn’t have them at HEB but had the lump. Hmm. See
Texas Larry above.
