I found this today while shopping at Sam's club and figured I would give it a try. It was just under $12 for 15+lb bag. Does anyone have any experience with this brand?

I just used this brand a few days ago, smaller pieces but this burns a long time. Was really surprised! Will definitely buy more.

I had an opportunity to try this lump charcoal. I'm including some pictures for your reference. I did not dump out the whole bag. As you can see the pieces are on the small side. It lit well with no sparking and burned clean. I found it easy to control, and there was no off tastes on the food. For just under $12 for 15+ lbs it is not bad. I would say its better for grilling than a long low and slow cook based on the size of the pieces. I'll report back after my next cook.
