I currently have 4 grills 2 gas (Weber spirit 700 and Weber 1000) 2 charcoal (Weber master touch 22 and PK360). I also have a cast iron hibachi and a joule Sous vide. I have multiple probe thermometers , MK4, Smoke, 2 chef alarm, ThermaQ and thermaK and a thermoworks IR with K probe port. for knives I love my Messermeister Olive elite and my TojironDP Gyutou. which I keep razor sharp using my edge-pro. I also have a weather station to keep an eye on good Grilling weather.

I like it. As an automation sorta guy, I can see this working for folks like me. I really am crappy at sharpening knives for some reason!

I did have one GREAT internet campaign I contributed too, and gawsh, it is so fantastic. I'll share later.
I really suck at sharpening knives. Don't know what it is. I design and build intricate space craft, space stations, brew systems, acoustic guitars... I can cook clean eat, ride, play and bring the house down on a good night... But I cant' sharpen a knife to save my life! I am a Virgo. I have never been able to sharpen a knife either! I bought some really good J A Henkel knives about a month ago and I can tell that some of them are starting to get a little dull so I just ordered a Wicked Edge sharpening system to hopefully change my dismal sharpening skills. I have tried the Work Sharp and the KME and they just don't do as good a job as I thought they would do. I want razor sharp knives but I just can't get that with the systems that I have tried so far.Last edited by vandy; March 17, 2017, 11:09 AM.
