Meadow Creek Smokers

Hello everyone! New to the site and wanted to get some opinions on a couple of Meadow Creek Smokers. Specifically, the BX 50 and TS 120. I live in Texas and would have to pay a ton for shipping, but really like what I see online about these smokers. Or, if you have suggestions of a Texas based company that has similar constructed pits. Thanks in advance

Agreed... Lone Star. I have looked in to these although haven't pulled the trigger yet and Lone Star gets my nod even though Meadow Creeks are made near me. I would pay the shipping to get a Lone Star

If I got an offset from Lonestar I'd definitely make sure the smoke entered level with the bottom of the lower grate. None of this forcing the smoke/heat down and manipulating tuning plates.

​​​​You might want to compare the cooking area of the TS120 with other offsets. MeadowCreek makes some nice stuff, but man they are up there.

The redesigned LSG 20" offsets don't have tuning plates. They say the new design makes them unnecessary.

I love some of the design features from Meadow Creek. I don’t however love some of the pricing from meadow creek.
