    Portable Electric Water Smoker

I just received this portable smoker on Friday, seasoned it yesterday, and smoked the rest of a brisket point I had in the freezer and four beef ribs. The flavor and tenderness were excellent. Back in the early 1990's I had an electric bullet smoker that did an incredibly good job on ribs, chicken turkey, salmon, Spanish mackerel, etc. But about 15 years ago when I bought an electric bullet smoker that wouldn't get hot enough to even steam water, I exchanged it for a propane bullet smoker. I also started using an offset charcoal smoker. Now I'm glad I tried this Masterbuilt portable electric smoker. I could easily control the cooking chamber temperature, according to my Chef Alarm, to whatever I set it to, and I tested temperatures from 200 to 300 degrees F when I was seasoning it. You can smoke two chickens and two racks of ribs (each cut in half and placed on a rib rack) on it at one time. A video about it shows it cooking a 16 pound turkey, if you remove the top rack. Here is a link to it. https://search.aol.com/aol/video?q=v...t=loki-keyword

The cooking racks are 11.5 inches wide and 12 inches deep. It only weighs 25 pounds and has folding handles on each side that make it easy to carry. Here are pictures.

My brother bought one of those for camping
they like it a lot. He is just getting into smoking, he has a pellet grill at home that

Good looking ribs. Did you have to refill the smoke box?

Having moved from Ohio to the Alexandria VA area for work and living in an Apartment where there is No Flame Allowed was definitely hard to do! Ive converted a 18.5 WSM I had, and although it works pretty well, I've been looking for something else "electric" I can use. Thanks for the post, I'm going to check it out!!
